The following form can be used for building, plumbing, mechanical and utility inspections, and truth-in-housing re-inspections (not the initial Truth-in-Housing inspection, which must be done by a licensed independent evaluator).
The person listed on the permit as doing the work is responsible for requesting inspections.
While every effort will be made to conduct inspections on short notice, we request that you allow at least 24 hours advance notice. This is particularly true during the busy construction months of April through October.
Inspections are done 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. and are scheduled every half hour.
Inspection personnel will not enter an occupied dwelling unattended or when unsupervised children are present. Arrangements must be made to have an adult present during the inspection.
