Hopkins is home to over 20 community education facilities. In conjunction with Hopkins School District #270 and the private school sector, the City of Hopkins is committed to providing educational outlets for all of its residents.

Public School District

The Hopkins School District serves about 8,000 students, and includes five elementary schools, two junior high schools and one high school. Visit their website for a complete listing of schools.

Adult Options In Education

Adult Options In Education is an adult basic education program supported through the community education departments of the Hopkins, Minnetonka and St. Louis Park school districts, along with the Hennepin County Corrections Facility.

Adult Options In Education provides learning opportunities for adults who need a refresher in math, reading, or writing; who need GED preparation; or for refugees and immigrants limited in their English-speaking abilities. All Adult Options In Education programs and services are free and confidential.
