Upcoming Park System Improvements

The City will undertake several park improvements in 2016 and 2017. 

Hilltop Park Play Equipment (2017)

  • Replacement of the existing 26-year-old play equipment.

Maetzold Field Play Equipment (2017)

  • Replacement of the existing play equipment.

  • Replacement of the existing 60-year-old warming house/restrooms with a new multi-purpose facility
  • Replacement of the existing picnic shelter
  • New play equipment for two to five year olds
  • New park trails
  • New basketball court area
  • New splash pad play area.

  • A new, distinctively-designed picnic pavilion with restrooms. The pavilion will overlook the great lawn area.

  • Rehabilitation of the existing 60-year-old, drab facilities to include a new covered patio area
  • New restrooms and drinking fountains for park users
  • New park lighting.
