2024 PARKING PERMITS NOW AVAILABLE

Need to park in Downtown Hopkins for an extended period of time? Most of the parking lots downtown require a parking permit if you're staying for more than a couple hours. 2024 parking permits are available now. Permits may be purchased online or at City Hall, Monday through Friday between 8 a .m. and 4:30 p.m. Learn more about parking in Downtown Hopkins and purchase a parking permit online. 


Sign-Up for Emergency Notifications

When a crisis affects the City of Hopkins, Hopkins public safety officials must be able to reach residents instantly with warnings, information and updates. In order to ensure that residents can be contacted quickly and effectively, the City of Hopkins uses Smart911, which gives municipalities the ability to email, text and call the community within minutes. Homestead Applications Due December 31

Property owners in Hennepin County have until December 31 to complete a homestead application for 2024. Eligible applicants must have moved into their home on or before December 1, 2023. Hennepin County offers an online filing application. All of the details about homestead applications are available on the Hennepin County website.
