Free Leaf and Yard Waste Pick-Up Begins October 21

Free fall leaf and yard waste bag pick-up will be on your regular garbage day October 21 through November 14. All compostable leaf and yard waste bags should be four feet away from your garbage/recycling cart pick-up area. If you live in the Bellgrove, Hobby Acres, Park Ridge and Interlachen Park neighborhoods, leaf and yard waste will be picked-up using front-end loaders and dump trucks November 4 through 7. Halloween in Hopkins is October 26

Break out your costumes a couple days early and head downtown for Halloween in Hopkins on Saturday, October 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring trick-or-treating along Mainstreet, a Haunted Jail Tour at the Hopkins Police Department, a pet costume contest, kids games and more. 

Brush/Yard Waste Drop-Off Site Hours Change

The free brush and yard waste drop-off site is now open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The drop-off site will close for the season after November 18.
