Election Day is November 5

The 2024 general election will be held Tuesday, November 5. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. City Hall will also be open extended hours for absentee voting on Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday, November 4, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit mnvotes.org to find your polling place or view your sample ballot. Find more information about voting and elections in Hopkins.


Turkey Bingo with the Hopkins Police Department is November 10

The Hopkins Police Department is hosting Turkey Bingo on Sunday, November 10, at 2 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center. For $20, play 10 games for the chance to win amazing prices worth over $100 each game. Raffles for gift cards to local businesses will be held between games. Refreshments will be available for purchase. The 18+ event is cash only. All proceeds will go to the department’s Cops N Community programs.


Depot Youth Advisory Board Anniversary Gala 
is November 16

The Depot Youth Advisory Board is hosting an all ages gala to celebrate their 26th anniversary on Saturday, November 16, from 5 to 10 p.m. The event is black tie, and there will be food, live music and a silent auction. Tickets can be purchased online.


Thanksgiving Meal Delivery Nominations Due November 18

The Hopkins Police Department has joined together with the Hopkins Fire Department, the Hopkins Rotary, and the Hopkins Business and Civic Association to deliver Thanksgiving meals, provided by Driskill's Downtown Market, to those in need. If you, your family, a friend or a neighbor are in need of a Thanksgiving meal, submit an online nomination form by 6 a.m. on Monday, November 18. If you are unable to submit a nomination online, please contact Anne Buck at 952-548-6407.


City of Hopkins Notification of Accessibility of the Service 
Line Materials Inventory

The City of Hopkins has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT). You may also contact the City at 952-939-1382. To complete the service line inventory our system performed record review and/or visual inspections with the City’s water meter replacement project. As of October 16, 2024, our inventory contains galvanized requiring replacement, unknown material, and non-lead service lines.
