Community Photo Contest Begins September 8Calling all shutterbugs! The City of Hopkins 2025 Photo Contest opens Monday, September 8, and will take submissions through Sunday, September 21. The finalists will be posted to the City's Facebook page where voting will take place Wednesday, September 24 through Wednesday, October 1. The winning photo will be featured in the City's Annual Report, City publications, and posted to the City’s website and social media accounts. Studio West Art Tour is September 13 and 14The Friends of the Hopkins Center for the Arts is excited to present Studio West Art Tour, an early autumn ramble through the art studios and creative spaces of Minneapolis’ western metropolitan communities on September 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and September 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tour-goers will enjoy a self-guided exploration with the opportunity to meet and greet some great artists from Minnesota and beyond, check out their work and even drive home with an original piece of art, pottery, jewelry, textile and more. 35 artists will be participating, displaying their talent at 12 sites in Hopkins, Minnetonka, Deephaven and Wayzata..
