Along with fire departments across Minnesota, the Hopkins Fire Department is collecting homemade cloth masks at the Hopkins Fire Station at 101 17th Avenue S. The department asks that anyone donating masks to please place them in a plastic bag and leave them in the bin outside the station between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.
Do not reach into the bucket when dropping off a mask and do not take any mask already in the bin.
The masks will be distributed to congregate care facilities in Hopkins.
