The City of Hopkins free brush and yard waste drop-off site opens for the season on Saturday, April 14. The site is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Only brush and yard waste generated by Hopkins residential garbage customers will be accepted.
Beginning April 14, Hopkins residential garbage customers may also bring their household organics to the drop off site for recycling. Organics recycling includes collecting fruits, vegetables, bones, meat, bread, eggshells, non-recyclable and food-soiled paper and more for composting.
