Get household items fixed for free and learn valuable repair skills at a Fix-It Clinic on Saturday, February 9, from noon to 4 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center. Bring your broken household goods and clothing in need of repair and receive free guided assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot and fix your items.
Items must be carried in – no oversized items will be accepted. Examples of what to bring include lamps, vacuum cleaners, fans, paper shredders, electric kettles, sewing machines, toys, clothing, blenders, mixers, wooden chairs, smartphones, laptops and jewelry.
