Ways to Engage
The Community Connections Project offers several ways to get involved. In addition to emailing or stopping by City Hall to share your thoughts, the following opportunities will be available:
Meeting in a Box
Gather your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, sports team and more to host a meeting in a box. A meeting in a box includes everything you need to host a meeting where you and your guests envision a Hopkins that is fully engaged, inclusive and connected.
Using your visions for Hopkins, you’ll identify challenges, strengths, and steps that will take Hopkins closer to being an even more vibrant, engaged community. The meeting outline and all materials are provided — all you need to do is find guests. It will take approximately an hour and a half of your time.
Survey
The Community Connection survey is open to all Hopkins residents. The survey gathers information regarding your experiences with belonging, engagement and equity in Hopkins. Filling out the survey is an opportunity to share your ideas for a more inclusive, connected Hopkins.
The survey will take approximately five to 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will shape future engagement efforts in Hopkins, so we thank you for your time.
Visioning Sessions
Visioning sessions are an open space for residents to share their experiences, make connections with other residents and collaboratively imagine the future of community engagement in Hopkins. Multiple sessions will be held. All ages are welcome and activities for young children will be provided.
Pop-Ups
Pop-up sessions will be held at many community events in October and November. We will have additional information, surveys, and meeting in a box kits available. Stop by our table to learn more, share your ideas, and ask any questions you may have.
