Hopkins Crime Prevention Fund

The Hopkins Crime Prevention Fund was established in 1983 and was designed to provide monetary rewards for crime information, leads or arrests. It also provides funding for additional department programs and initiatives, which engage our youth but are not funded through the department budget.

The crime fund is a tax deductible, 501(C)(3) organization that is overseen by a board of directors. The Chief of Police makes recommendations to the board for funding based on the needs of the community and the department.
